聚對苯二甲酸丁二醇酯(PBT）是通用的工程塑料。

1 PBT的工藝特性

PBT具有明顯的熔點，熔點為225~235℃，是結晶型材料，結晶度可達40%。

PBT熔體的粘度受溫度的影響不如剪切應力那么大，因此，在注塑中，注射壓力對PBT熔體流動性影響是明顯。

PBT在熔融狀態下流動性好，粘度低，僅次于尼龍，在成型易發生“流延”現象。

PBT成型制品各向異性。PBT在高溫下遇水易降解。

2注塑機

選用螺桿式注塑機時。應考慮如下幾點。

①制品的用料量應控制在注塑機額定注射量的30%~80%。不宜用大注塑機生產小制品。

②應選用漸變型三段螺桿，長徑比為15~20，壓縮比為2.5~3.0。

③應選用自鎖式噴嘴，并帶有加熱控溫裝置。

④在成型阻燃級PBT時，注塑機的有關部件應經防腐處理。

3制品與模具設計

①制品的厚度不宜太厚，PBT對缺口很敏感，因此，制品的直角等過渡處應采用圓弧連接。

②PBT的成型收縮率較大，在1.7%~2.3%，模具要有一定的脫模斜度。

③模具需要設排氣孔或排氣槽。

④澆口的口徑要大。

⑤模具需設置控溫裝置。模具溫度不能超過100℃。

⑥阻燃級PBT成型，模具表面要鍍鉻，以防腐。

4原料準備

注塑前要進行干燥、要將水分含量控制在0.02%以下。采用熱風循環干燥時，當溫度為105℃、120℃或140℃時，所對應的時間不超過8h、5h、3h。料層厚度低于30mm。

5注塑工藝參數

①注射溫度PBT的分解溫度為280℃，所以實際生產中一般控制在245~260℃之間。

②注射壓力注射壓力一般為50~100MPa。

③注射速率PBT冷卻速度快，因此要采用較快的注射速率。
